a) the Wales Group now has 150 members (hello Rosa!);

b) it looks very (very) (VERY) likely that Cahnist co-production principles will be written in to the regulations and code of practice of our new Social Services and Well-being Act AND embedded in commissioning requirements;

c) nef's Commissioning for Co-production Masterclasses are coming to Wales with 11 LA commissioners signed up, a clutch of senior Welsh Government radicals, leading lights from third-sector organisations…

Wales Government gets radical!

I'll produce a full write-up of today's superb Co-production Implementation Group meeting asap but just had to pass on the introductory remarks of our remarkable CMO Ruth Hussey on co-production: "People say 'it's partnership working - we're doing it already'. We're not doing it already. This is about power."

With people like that on our side we might just succeed in transforming our public services. Time for a celebratory glass of something!

Wales launches a Co-production Implementation Group (fanfare of trumpets and yippetty-yips)
