Background to your work
Founder of All in this Together - a network of citizens, professionals and policy makers aiming to define a vision of co-production for Wales and then to make this the primary method of public service delivery in Wales.
Undertaking cross-sector research in to co-production: what are the essential elements for success; what are the barriers and how can they be overcome. Working with over 90 colleagues in UK and USA and hoping to produce a practical 'tool-kit' for co-production practitioners to use.

Sunshine, lollipops and hand-knitted bathers...

Anyone out there remember the profound horrors of the hand-knitted bathing costume? I had one in beige and green stripes. No-one asked me if I wanted one in beige and green stripes - choice wasn’t a big thing in 1950s childhoods as I recall - it simply appeared one year and hung around until…

Morning Ruth, I've heeded your advice and reached out to Mark and Judith who must be extraordinarily busy right now. The more I get into this as a newbie, the more I'm humbled by the incredible amount of work and dedication that's brought things thus far. Also as newbie it's hardly my place to welcome new members to the group but I've jumped in there all the same. Hope I haven't broken any protocols! :)

Ruth, thanks for the link to the commissioning report focusing on the "Social Services and Well-being (Wales) Act 2014 ".

It could just as easily apply (ref my email) to the "Well-being of Future Generations (Wales) Act 2015", which broadens the scope to Wales' environment and culture and I'd be pleased to have your thoughts on this...

Thanks Ruth. I'm afraid I don't know these people. I would be very interested to find out more about co-production in healthcare in Wales and about your work. Would you be available to meet at Cardiff uni some time in October?
