- I work mainly in mental health, and am Professor of Social Engagement and the Humanities at The University of Sheffield, and the founder and co-director of the Storying Sheffield project. I also work with the NHS and other organisations on co-production in mental health. I’ve lived with serious mental health problems throughout my adult life. I’ve got a lot of experience of using narrative methodologies to understand complex human and social issues, and I’ve worked extensively with people who experience various kinds of social exclusion.

Love the Storying Sheffield work - would be great if we could get you down to Cardiff to help us with our co-pro revolution. Third-sector are on board but health are a tougher group to convince!
