Background to your work
I am degree educated with numerous additional vocational and educational qualifications – including the completion of a two year part-time Masters in Business Administration from Cardiff Business School.

My working background includes both private and public sector experience, mainly at managerial / project leadership level and has included working as a European Officer in the education sector achieving major European Social Fund support for a wide range of programmes and projects.

Due to my life-long lived experience of mental health issues, over the last few years I have become increasingly involved in work in this area. I am actively involved in a number of networks primarily, though not exclusively, related to Mental Health.

I am a “service user representative” on a number of local and all-Wales committees on Mental Health and have also been involved in developing the Cardiff & Vale strategies in a number of areas. I am, currently, the only “lay” representative on a Community Mental Health Team in Wales. I was jointly responsible for successfully lobbying the Welsh Assembly Government to adopt (this year) the NICE (National Institute for Health and Care Excellence) Quality standard for service user experience in Adult Mental Health.
standards for “Service User Experience in Mental Health”. I have also been very involved in developing job, person specifications and protocols for service users to take up positions on CMHTs and the Mental Health National Partnership Board.
I am about to start work as one of the first two “Peer Support Workers” working in Secondary Adult Mental Health (outreach day services). I am also involved in training the post-graduate Psychology intake at Cardiff University – providing a “service user” perspective. In addition, I – along with two other “service user representatives” have developed a paper aimed at the principal of “Payment for Service User Involvement” on boards and co-production activities and will be part of the “task and finish” group for Cardiff and Vale NHS, Adult Mental Health and 3rd Sector representatives pursuing this aim.

Dear, I picked interest on you after going through your page profile and demand it necessary to write you immediately. I have something very vital to disclose to you, but I found it difficult to express myself here on coprod-network.ning.combecause it is a public site. Could you please get back to me to my private email contact address ( janerollins145@yahoo.com ) so that we can discuss privately. My regards, Jane

isn't technology a complete pain! Maybe try removing the final '/' at the end of the address - that's the only difference I can spot between that link and the one that I copied and pasted onto the home page of the network site - and that one works.

Oh for a return to the days of carrier pigeons and carbon paper copies!

Welcome to the network Jane! Do join the Wales Group when you have a moment - under 'networking' on the main menu. Lots happening here on the co-production front!
