Hey Mum - we're going to be on t'telly!

BBC Wales political producer Toby Mason, clearly a man of fine understanding and revolutionary zeal, has heard about the Open Letter, and the joys of co-production and intends to make a programme about it all for the telly.

AND he's planning to schedule it to go out just before the Open Letter wings its way to the Welsh Government's First Minister Carwyn Jones on 25th April. How's that for a bit of news to cheer us up in the midst of cuts, angst and…

Co-producing Wales - open letter to the Welsh Government

Co-production is on a roll in Wales with new events, innovations, projects and people springing up in all directions. We've also got a great opportunity to get co-pro at the heart of our social services through the publication of the draft Social Services & Well-being Wales Bill which is a really positive step towards citizen-empowerment and partnership working.

Nick Andrews provided the venue, cups and water/juice; Rick Wilson from Community Lives Consortium gave us a provocative presentation on developing social as opposed to anti-social services (taken from his PhD in progress - it's going to be a great read!) and…
