The 'Family by Family' initiative was very interesting and seems to be making an impact.  I'd love to see how it tracks over time.  If it keeps families together and children/young people out of care systems that's got to be a good thing.  If it works, don't knock it.  It seems people are willing to experiment .....

I don't know enough about Program(me) Theory but others come to mind, e.g. Kurt Lewin's work around Groups, Ulrich's work on Critical Systems Heuristics, Systems Theory, Group Dynamics, Weisbord & Janoff and Future Search (people don't resist change, they resist change being imposed upon them) - and others.  I wasn't clear on the extent of co-production and whether an open approach was taken about people identifying the issues they face and being supported in developing their own solutions - perhaps action learning (prototyping?), participatory action research or even self-reliant participatory action research.  I'm not sure there's much innovation involved other than the attitude of authorities allowing the intervention - which seems to be a good thing ....

I need to learn/understand more about it .....

The example of the Care Workers getting together to discuss issues they face and help each other in problem solving seems to be the application of modern management approaches rather than anything particularly innovative .....?

I'm still learning ....
