A stellar line-up and what might be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to hear from Australian co-pro innovator Eddie Bartnik, Mental Health Commissioner for Western Australia and former Director-General of Communities.

Sharing the stage with Eddie is the awesome David Robinson, director of the Early Action Task Force, founder of Community Links, and author of 'Unconditional Leadership' and the million-selling 'Change the world for a fiver'.

Plus presentations from the frontline - communities and organisations who are at the forefront of the co-production revolution in Wales:

Local Area Co-ordination / Monmouth Council: Creating inclusive communities. Local Authorities and communities working in partnership to transform services, relationships and presumptions. The LAC co-pro model they are using is also changing lives in Scotland, England, and Australia.
RCTInterlink & Spectacle Theatre: Community Voices. An ABCD approach to co-pro (asset-based community development) involving 8 pilot projects and the wonderful Spectacle Theatre. All intended to ensure that peoples' voices are heard loud and clear.
Spice: Time for Change. Using time-banks to deliver co-production - across communities, schools, housing associations and within social care. Compelling evidence from individuals and organisations.

Who (at Cardiff Council) is supporting this event? Intend to be there but want to give more information to colleagues working in Health and Social Care services within the council and CMHTS.

Also - is there still going to be a (public) meeting between Eddie Bartnik and Mark Drakeford?

Hi Jane

Support from Cardiff Council is being co-ordinated/led by Luke Burton from the Partnership Team (they have been doing a great job of championing co-production). The meeting between Eddie Bartnik and Mark Drakeford is not a public one. Eddie is also meeting with CMO Ruth Hussey on the Tuesday morning.
