Social marketing typically isn't associated with co-pro (maybe it's the 'marketing' bit that puts people off!). But there's interesting work being presented at the European Social Marketing conference in Lisbon later this month about participatory methods, ethnographic approaches to understanding communities and frameworks for partnership working.

It's a pleasure to announce that the next London Coproduction Network meeting will be held on Monday 21st January 2013, 10am-12.30pm. Nef will be hosting the event at 3 Jonathan Street (SE11 5NH, 5 minutes' walk from Vauxhall tube station). Dear All
I am curious to know how people are assessing and demonstrating the values of co-production research outputs and outcomes. I come from an action-research in developing countries background and have recently come across the co-production network and ways of working. There are many parallels between the co-production principles and ways of working with what people aspire to achieve through action-research.
I have been looking through the co-production literature for a…

Collaboration brings challenges but delivers tangible advantages and cash savings. As the so-called 'graph of doom' hangs over our future, successful councils will be those that can lead through the power of…

About 30 of us attended the Wales Network meeting in Swansea yesterday with lots of new faces and plenty of delectable old ones (in the experiential sense). Nick Andrews provided the venue, cups and water/juice; Rick Wilson from Community Lives Consortium gave us a provocative presentation on developing social as opposed to anti-social services (taken from his PhD in progress - it's going to be a great read!) and…
