Co-production practitioners network

A network for co-production practitioners

We're recruiting: Public engagement coordinator

We are looking for someone with partnership-building, project management and analytical skills to manage a range of projects to support the involvement of people affected by cancer in our service development and influencing activities.

You will play an important role in Macmillan's Inclusion department, building relationships with individuals and organisations to engage with easy to ignore communities. You will collaborate with others to develop and deliver innovative involvement approaches to understand the unmet needs of people affected by cancer. And you will undertake work to ensure that local, regional and national agendas reflect the latest evidence on variation in patient experience and inequality.

We are looking for someone with experience of involving service users in decision-making processes and facilitating workshops, and knowledge of methods for meaningful user involvement. You will have a good understanding of research methods and approaches, as well as proven skills in developing and managing projects. You will be an excellent verbal and written communicator, and skilled at building relationships with a range of stakeholders from vulnerable groups to corporate partners.

In return you will work in an exciting environment, where we commit to actively developing you and offer benefits including BUPA, life assurance, pension, childcare vouchers and generous annual leave.
