Wales updates (it's all happening)

Lots happening in Wales: here are some updates and events:

All in this Together: There's been a strong emphasis on co-production and collaboration in the responses to the Social Services (Wales) Bill. It’s the Committee stage next and it's all looking very positive. Also, plans are underway for a WG visit to Scottish Government co-pro champions to share ideas about co-production and public service delivery: http://allinthistogetherwales.wordpress.com

Co-production Resource: the 82 case-studies are now sorted and the draft contents clarified. Next stage is the funding bid…will keep you informed of progress; http://coproductionresource.wordpress.com

Participation Cymru’s Public Engagement network event is on 14-15 June in Llandrindod Wells (including a co-pro workshop with me and Pam Luckock): contact participationcymru@wcva.org.uk

Co-operative Solutions for Citizen-Directed Support with John Restakis from Canada: Age Concern / Wales Progressive Co-ops and others have organised a series of seminars across Wales from 26 - 29 June: contact david-smith45@tiscali.co.uk
