Co-production practitioners network
A network for co-production practitioners
Early action to prevent harm will help to improve well-being, use resources more efficiently, build resilience and safeguard the future. It is a wise and sustainable approach. It matters equally for society, the environment and the economy. But it seldom happens. What can be done to put prevention at the top of the agenda for policy and practice, and make it real? nef (the new economics foundation) invites you a major conference bringing together experts from across the public, private and third sector to discuss:
• The social, environmental and economic costs of failing to prevent harm
• How we invest in prevention while still meeting the costs of failure
• How to judge whether preventive measures are working
• The role of regulators, businesses, parliament, NGOs and charities, civil servants and local government.
KEYNOTE SPEAKERS include
Lord Adair Turner, Chair of the Financial Services Authority
Jonathon Porritt, Founder Director of Forum for the Future
Rt Hon Margaret Hodge MP, Chair of the Public Accounts Committee
