Across the country there is push to give people control over how they get the care and support they need. Unsurprisingly many people want small, personal, flexible and quirky services that help them live full and interesting lives. The world of care and support is full of standards, rules and regulations and this makes it difficult for very small new services to set up and for established ones to thrive.

This new project aims to bridge this gap by setting up an agency in Hertfordshire to give small care services the recognition, advice and information they need. We believe that this will increase the numbers and types of services in Hertfordshire giving people a real chance of getting the kind of help they want.

We need a self motivated individual who relates well to people to take up the challenge of co-ordinating the work. You may have a background in care, housing, community or advice work, or simply feel you have the skills, drive and experience to do the job. You should understand the challenges faced by very small enterprises or service providers.

The post holder will be employed by Community Catalysts and based within Hertfordshire County Council. Contact: Angela Catley at angela.catley@communitycatalysts.co.uk with any questions about this post.

Contact: Jill Wighton at jill.wighton@communitycatalysts.co.uk for an application pack

Closing date is Thursday 26th April
