Co-production practitioners network
A network for co-production practitioners
We need to find new solutions for R&D and open innovation beyond the traditional knowledge transfer models from academia to businesses. Small business can contribute to the development of innovative products and services if we get together to bring our expertise. It takes a big effort and resources to act proactively to engage other partners in collaborative solutions to deliver social value to communities and to public services.
SMEs and social enterprises in particuar, can bring other types of knowledge out of solving the challenges of working at a micro level, listening the needs of people and looking for high impact at low cost. Maybe we need to go to basis and learn the engineering of collaboration and find a diverse range of 'hows'. Is collaborative learning the new frontier for co-production?
Have a look at this presentation with some good practises and visions of change across Academia, large and small businesses.http://prezi.com/arrexlgyy1t2/universities-and-smes-collaborative-p...
