Co-production practitioners network

A network for co-production practitioners

Our next meeting of the London Co-production Practitioners' will be held at the City of London Guildhall in Moorgate and will focus on Tools for Co-production in Services. The event will be hosted by Spice, a social enterprise that develops agency timebanking systems for communities and public services 'that engage and empower the many rather than the few'. Spice are interested in how co-production and time credits can be part of public services from the very beginning.

Provisionally, the afternoon includes:

  • a presentation from Rosie Farrer and David Russell at Spice on how we can make the most of time credits in co-production - both for communities and services
  • discussion of co-produced commissioning in public services, drawing on recent pilots and examples
  • a demonstration from Ian Hanton (an experienced commissioner) of the Action 4 Community Enterprise (ACE) boardgame! ACE is a cooperative action learning game designed to train community leaders, groups and activists to exploit the opportunities that arise from emerging government policy
  • time for conversations and networking - from 3pm onwards.
