Co-production practitioners network
A network for co-production practitioners
Progress updates:
I was at the WG Environment Matters summit on Monday - along with 200 others. What was really striking was the engagement with co-pro reflected in all the presentions, including that of the Minister. It was unexpectedly inspirational...co-operative values, collectivist principles and heartfelt convictions abounded. More info is on the All in this Together blog which is now active: http://allinthistogetherwales.wordpress.com You are all welcome to contribute to the blog - just ask and I'll sort out the technical permissions.
The Patchwork Shares timebank has launched in the North Wales coast regeneration area: www.patchworkcircles.com/patchwork-shares hosted by Patchwork Circles, the North Wales co-pro network.
Eluned Parrott AM has offered to sponsor the next South Wales AitT event in the Pierhead Building - probably on 19th June. This offers a great opportunity to let politicians know about the potential of co-production...we will focus on commissioning and communities. Hope you can come - I'll send details once they are finalised.
Finally, the consultation period for the Social Services (Wales) bill ends on 31st May. Individuals or organisations can respond via a consultation proforma which can be found at: wales.gov.uk/consultations/healthsocialcare/bill/ Do join in - every pro co-pro voice will help move the agenda forward.
