Co-production practitioners network

A network for co-production practitioners

Thanks to all who attended (64 of us!) for plentiful enthusiasm and ideas: I'll get everything written up and circulated by the end of the week.

Spice have offered to organise the next meeting - probably as a world-cafe type session to put flesh on bones - and some of you have suggested topics for inclusion. Do post here with any more ideas.

A DVD of the event will be available very soon, and copies of the slides. Please encourage colleagues to join this group: it offers a ready-made communication channel for us all - and we are now the biggest group in the Co-pro Network (and very possibly the cutest).

can I just raise a word of caution on world cafe events:

the noise generated by numerous tables of people engaged in separate and animated discussions creates a very difficult environment for those with hearing or sight loss and anyone using BSL interpretation

Vin

Definitely the cutest. Ruth, you rock. Thank you for enabling....... all of this to happen! x

Hi Vin,

A very good point - I have partial hearing and find that the venue can make a massive difference. Textured walls, fabrics help acoustics tremendously.

Ruth - thank you for organising such an inspiring event. And thanks to fantastic speakers and participants! It was a good facilitation session too.

I made some sketch notes which I will aim to get live on my blog soon - I will post the link here.

Thanks for the thanks - and for the helpful note of caution. Looking forward to Laura's sketch notes...

The event presenters have agreed to an edited version of the presentations being put up on the internet so that it can be accessed by all. Lovely Ade Clark from Cardiff Met is sorting it out for us. I'll let you know when it becomes available.

Hi all,

Terribly sorry - I thought I had posted a link to the sketchnotes here but obviously hadn't. So here you go:

You can click through from the image to view it bigger on Flickr.

Thanks,

Thanks so much Laura - these are brilliant (and you've slimmed me down considerably - what a tresure you are!) R
