Hi all,

Are there any plans for any events in the near future? It looks like things have been quiet on here for a while so I am assuming not. I am setting up a lottery funded family support project in Cheshire and I really want to use co-production in a small way to stimulate community development and reach families that other services have not got to. Would love to chat about this with anyone with any knowledge and experience of coproduction!! I will keep my eye on this site too for ideas and inspiration...

Regards,

Emily.

Hi Ben,

That would be great if you could invite James and Cara. Someone else is inviting commissioners as well. So could you invite them and see if they want to and then I'll know how many other commissioners we need to invite.

Best,

James

Hi James,

Hope there is still time but I would really like to have some Mental Health Commissioners attend (have a vested interest from my days at The Roby and am also Vice-Chair for HARP - soon to be Manchester MIND) so would be really excellent to discuss co-production with them as the Trustee Board have committed to developing a new strategic plan for MIND.  I know James Williams (MH - Adult Social Care Commissioner) and Cara Ciliento (NHS Manchester - MH Commissioner).  I could drop them a line.  Have you got a venue / time sorted out for the 8th?  Have just blocked it out in my diary but will just need to make sure that work are happy for me to attend if during the day.

All the best,

Ben

Health (NHS) and Social Care (local authority social services) would be immediately relevant to my bit but the learning could be useful to any sector.

Hi,

I'm going to invite some commissioners to come along to the network meeting on 8th September.

What departments or sectors would people like to speak to?

A quick response would be gratefully received.

Best,

J

Hi everyone!

Thanks for joining and, if you did, coming to the first network meeting yesterday.

We're going to have another meeting on 8th September, venue t.b.a.

What we need is a 2-3 practitioners' to give a short presentation about their work. Plus, someone who is trying to figure out how to figure out a problem or engage with a challenge in their co-production practice - in a friendly and constructive environment.  Any ideas? Any takers?

Please introduce yourselves and invite friends.

Best,

J
