Timebanking in Leicestershire

Hello

I just wanted to update practitioners to developments with the Leicestershire County Council Timebank project. We have been running a Timebank for organisations operating in social care, health and the community for several months now, and have over 40 members trading a multitude if things.

We are now launching 2 pilot projects aimed at individuals in the community, in the Coalville and Lutterworth areas of the County.

For those that are interested here is the link to our website, which was actually procured through a mixture of kindness and timecredits from another Timebank, Timber Wharf, in London. We hope that the giving of timecredits could enable transactions across geographical boundaries.

Hi Sarah

Yes we will be evaluating. Were looking at pre and post satisfaction re health and well being, and also comparisons re commissioning costs, personal budgets, block contracts and the market cost.
