A network for co-production practitioners

support available for innovative criminal justice work

a colleague mentioned this programme and I thought there may be co-production practitioners who could benefit.........

'The StreetCraft Scholarships have been set up to champion the development of innovative frontline criminal justice projects.

Following the publication of our book StreetCraft, we have launched the StreetCraft Scholarships. The Scholarships seek to assist people, with a new idea for the justice system, to make it happen.

The stories of the innovators we interviewed in StreetCraft revealed that many practitioners have strong ideas on how to better develop their services, but they don’t always have the early stage support when putting them into practice. The StreetCraft Scholarships seek to tackle this by assisting a new generation of justice pioneers to secure technical support, practical guidance and access to senior stakeholders.

The Scholarship provides successful candidates with an intensive induction into justice system innovation. Following that, candidates will access one of two different types of support, depending on their needs. Successful appliclants shall either be funded to secure a place on the Young Foundation's highly acclaimed Accelerator OR receive intensive development and technical assistance from experts at Clinks. Both modes of support shall be fully funded by the Centre for Justice Innovation.

In an environment of considerable change and austerity, the StreetCraft Scholarships aim to inspire a new wave of innovation, and help build a criminal justice system fit for the 21st century.

Please note that the Scholarships are only open to UK-based applicants at this time.'
