A network for co-production practitioners
Hi all,
We are looking for two new development workers to join our new English team. We are developing a number of programmes with four localities across England, where we will be working in partnership with community groups and public sector services to develop time credit systems. The programme has been developed with support from Nesta, Office of Civil Society, Tudor Trust and Lankelly Chase Foundation.
Here's a bit of blurb:
Spice’s Time credits encourage many more people to volunteer in their communities. People gain time credits for giving their time; these credits can then be used to access help from others and access local leisure, recreational activities and services provided by communities, local authorities and private businesses.
Development Manager (Community)
You will work in conjunction with local community workers to develop a ‘Time Out’ redemption menu in communities across the UK.
Local workers are building clusters of community services, including youth groups, community centres and schools. You will work with these clusters to identify existing community resources, budgets and activities that can be made available to local people in recognition for their participation. To include community trips, events, services and social activities that will be shared between services. It will also include social activities created by local people themselves.
You are an enabler and change maker. This role, with national travel, combines good community and people skills, enthusiasm, creativity and strategic thinking. You know how to work in partnership with local services, you can facilitate, encourage, motivate and inspire.
Development Manager (Corporate)
You will work with local authorities and corporate partners to develop a ‘Time Out’ redemption menu that complements the community redemption opportunities provided by the local agencies.
The local authorities are committed to opening up leisure, learning and recreational activities to complement the offer provided by the local clusters (see community post). You will work with local authorities to develop this offer with in-house services and through adapting commissioning agreements. You will also build partnerships with local and national private sector venue operators, by inviting them to contribute.
You are inspiring and driven. This role, with national travel, combines good public and corporate relationship development, with enthusiasm and strategic thinking. You can inspire commitment, secure strategic partnerships and close agreements.
