Time banking is a way of restoring a sense of good neighbourliness. It is a rewarding and enjoyable way to bring people together to share their skills and support each other. Time banks have been shown to provide tangible improvements to both community health and to individual health and wellbeing. Paxton Green Time Bank has been coproducing community and individual wellbeing since 2008, and is looking to expand and develop our work in Lambeth and Southwark.

The Time Bank Broker will work with the existing staff team to run the day-to-day operation of the Time Bank by facilitating member exchanges. They will also support the Development Manager to engage and develop relationships with local partners, emerging time bank hubs and local statutory bodies, working to the principles of coproduction.
Having an empathy with the core values of time banking, the successful applicant will be a creative thinker with resilience, emotional intelligence, the ability to engage people from different backgrounds, have excellent communication skills and good administrative skills. The person will have experience of setting up and working within projects and systems and of working with community groups.
