New resources for interest and discussion!

I've just added some new reports to our Resources section. Hopefully these will be of help to many of you.

 

1. Report from the North-West Practitioners Network on their October session with Governance International and Coprodnet
This includes practitioner discussions of what is and what is not coproduction, insights into how to boost co-production and a series of great case studies. Well worth a read.

2. Taking forward the coproduction agenda in Housing

In recent months, the Housing Learning and Improvement Network (HLIN) has released a series of viewpoints that take a look at different aspects of building social capital and coproduction within a housing with care setting and the wider community.
The series includes

• 'Building Mutual Support' which looks at inter-generational work, volunteering, peer support, timebanking and coproduction in retirement communities - with discussion of examples and future steps.
• 'A strength based approach to ageing well' which helpfully builds on Asset Based Community Development (including finding 'connectors', asset mapping and match grants..)
• 'Living Labs' on the Living Lab method of co-creation, exploration, experimentation and evaluation - and how this approach could apply to residents of housing, avoiding 'consultation fatigue'.

I'd be interested to hear from those with experiences of Living Labs, so please do post to tell us what you think of them. Perhaps Jeremy Porteus of HLIN will also write us a thought piece.
