Co-production practitioners network
A network for co-production practitioners
NEF is working with youth service commissioners in Lambeth and Cornwall councils to transform the way that youth services are designed, commissioned and delivered. The approach we have developed with the commissioning teams is focussed on three distinct concepts, all critical to NEF’s work over the past decade: co-production; well-being; and social, environmental and economic outcomes.
The two and a half year project has developed insight into how other local authorities – in youth services and beyond – can apply similar ideas. We will be publishing practical guidance to help other commissioners put these ideas into practice, and are also supporting a network of commissioners to get an even deeper insight through a series of masterclasses run by NEF and Lambeth’s lead youth commissioner, Helen Sharp. You can download more information on the masterclases and network here: http://www.neweconomics.org/projects/entry/transforming-youth-services, and you can email Julia.slay@neweconomics.org to express your interest.
