Co-production practitioners network

A network for co-production practitioners

Co-Production Practitioners Network East Midlands

Hi, my name is James O'Flynn and I work in Market Development for Leicestershire County Council. Co-Production is part of my remit, as is timebanking, which I am in the process of setting up in Leicestershire.

I would be very interested in hearing from other individuals and organisations in the area who would like to meet a few times a year. For me a network would be useful in terms of finding out about what is occurring locally, exchanging ideas about best practice, and learning about new projects and innovation in co-production.

I have started a group on this website so please feel free to join.

If you work or live in the following areas:

Derbyshire/Nottinghamshire/Leicestershire/Northamptonshire/Lincolnshire/Rutland please get in touch to express an interest or point of view, further information will appear as things develop.

Hi James,

as Keith already suggested you are more than welcome to attend the next meeting of the West Midlands Network at The Welcome Centre, Parkside, Coventry CV1 2HG  (click here to see map) on 12 January 2012 (9.30AM-1PM). The programme is available at http://www.govint.org/english/main-menu/news.html

We are looking forward to hearing more about your co-production approach in Leicestershire County Council.

Hi James, I'm not in your area but I was involved in a project a couple of years ago, supported by East Midlands SHA, that aimed to embed co-production into their service commissioning. I'd be happy to give you  more details, just let me know.

Hi James, are you aware of the West Midlands Coproduction practitioners network meetings? Not quite your region but might be worth dropping in. For the last meeting we visited Time2trade time bank in Sandwell and also heard about Stockport Council's work on coproduction approaches to adult mental health services. The next meeting will, I think, be looking at the business case for co-prod. It's on 12 Jan in the morning, venue to be announced in the next few days. Get in touch with Yvonne Harley ( yvonne.harley@govint.org ) if you want to know more.

Keith
