A network for co-production practitioners

Anyone commissioners willing to share their thoughts?

Colleagues here at nef are asking for people to share their thoughts in a brief phone call to support a current piece of work. More below. Please contact Stephen directly. Many thanks!

nef consulting, has spent 12 months working with a group of community support services for marginalised and vulnerable women. The organisations we have worked with are unified by a holistic, woman-centred approach and a commitment to personalised, non-judgmental support.

We have supported these organisations through the process of conducting a Social Return on Investment analysis to identify the ways in which they create value for both the women that they work with and the communities in which they operate. We have found that although the services tend to specialise in working with women who either have offended or are at risk of offending, they produce outcomes across a whole range of spheres including mental and physical health, family relationships, housing and employability.

We are currently preparing a report on this project and are interested to speak to people responsible for commissioning services in the fields of health, adult social care, housing, and children and families to explore whether our findings have relevance to their work. We’d welcome conversations either face-to-face or by phone.
