A chance to visit and learn from the Essex Coalition of Disabled People

Hello everyone,

As part of NESTA's People Powered Health programme there is an opportunity for interested practitioners to visit and learn from the ecdp solutions - this open to all interested, but there are a limited number of spaces.

About ecdp

ecdp is a user led organisation for disabled people. ‘ecdp solutions’ is an independent support planning service run by ecdp. A small team of people with a mixture of professional and personal experience of care planning, receive referrals from Essex City Council to work with disabled people to help them write their personal support plans. Individuals are able to decide how much help they want from ecdp, and this can range from telephone support to home visits.

About the day

The highly participative session will outline the empowerment model and hear from those both delivering and receiving the service about how a co-production approach has added value. Time will be given for Q&A’s and discussion.
