New Coproducing Health PGCert at Leeds is here

We know that where services are coproduced with service users and their carers, the resulting solutions are more appropriate to user’s needs, are sustainable, and achieve better outcomes.

In response to demand we have launched the UK’s first Postgraduate Certificate in Coproducing Health which will start in March 2014. It is a really exciting programme based around people’s real coproduction work.

Participants will bring a coproduction project to the programme…

New Coproducing Health PGCert at Leeds

We are finalising a new workplace learning Coproducing Health PGCert at University of Leeds, Centre for Innovation in Health Management. This builds on the 3-day coproduction module that we already provide in our PGCert and MAsters programmes on leadership in health; and adds in  support to designing coproduction work with service users, evaluation, leading with service users carers and communities as peers, and supervision of local coproduction work by both academics and citizens. Help introducing London Darzi Fellows to coproduction

As part of the Darzi Fellows programme we are running for NHS London – we have a module on coproduction. We’d really like our Fellows to visit places in London who are working on coproduction and have some good benefits to show. Would you be willing to host a visit? The date is Thursday 21st March in the afternoon (probably about 3pm). The Darzi Fellows are clinical folk working in commissioning throughout London, and they are on a programme which supports them leading significant…

Hi Becky, thanks for joining the network - hope all is good with you and lots of people are pitching in to host the Darzi visits. x Lucie

PS - this is the general welcome I send people to suggest how to best use the site......

Hello and welcome to the co-production practitioners network Becky, thanks for joining us!

The practitioners network is supported by nef but all content is developed by members, for members. There's over 750 of us now from a wide range of backgrounds. To make the most of this fantastic resource, and in the spirit of co-production, do give others the chance to get involved by asking them to help you or sharing your skills with others.

Some of the following areas are good starting points;

Network groups – join your regional group for face to face and online contacts close to home just go to the networking page to see the full list.

Resources and Videos bring co-production to life - add your own and view others.

The Blog carries the latest news, debate and opportunities for co-production practitioners. See what’s going on, add in your own comments or start a new thread.

It would really help to know how you heard about the network and what motivated you to join. Please let me know at lucie.stephens@neweconomics.org. Also, please share the details of the network with colleagues or contacts you think would be interested.

Look forward to hearing from you,

Lucie

Head of Co-production, nef
