- Wandsworth Community Empowerment Network is based on the Doddington and Rollo estate in North Battersea. We are a community based charity that was established as part of the National Strategy for Neighbourhood Renewal. We work with communities and local people living in Wandsworth and surrounding Boroughs, particularly those that live in the poorest parts of our communities and who suffer the most disadvantages.We try to listen to and find out from local people what are the issues and concerns that affect them the most in their day to day lives. We also work with a number of our Public Agencies and hear about their issues and challenges in delivering good public services that work.Our core mission is to try to link the issues and concerns that local people and communities have with the organisations and agencies that may be able to do something about them.
