Slik 88n manual

I`ve had a Slik 88 for about 20 years & like yours it`s still going strong. I changed the head a couple of years ago because the original head, being mainly plastic, was starting to wear out. I replaced it with a Manfrotto 484 B/S head with quick release. In order for the new head to fit the Slik 88 i had to get hold of a Hama conversion bushing. I would guess by the non response that no one is familiar with that particular piece of equipment. I used Slik U212 tripods for years, still have one around, But I found that Bogen Manfrotto 055xprob is a very much superior piece of equipment. I topped it with the 488 rc2 ballhead, but I still have a Bogen 3 way pan tilt head as an alternative.
