This course is designed to introduce students to the basic skills required of an entry level lawyer in a family law practice. As part of the course, students will prepare a reflective journal which will require them to observe an interim hearing in the Family Court of Australia or the Federal Circuit Court of Australia, and also a choice of either a family law advice clinic at Legal Aid NSW, a Term 2 - 2018 : The overall satisfaction for students in the last offering of this course was 4.3 (on a 5 point Likert scale), based on a 57.89% response rate.
