I know some of you are interested in design for public services/co-production/co-design etc. This could be an opportunity for you to share some thoughts on the issue and influence policy discussions in Westminster. It would be good to have a mix of responses from Wales.
Noreen, can you share with the co-production groups?
Cheers,
Simon

New Inquiry:
Redesigning Public Services
Invitation to contribute
The Design Commission is launching its second inquiry:
How can good design practice be put at the heart of public services and policymaking in the UK?
We'd like to hear your ideas.
Our goals and objectives:
We believe that the adoption and use of good design practice in the construction and operation of public services is of paramount importance. If the public sector is to not only survive current budgetary constraints, but instead thrive, becoming more empathic to the needs and lives of citizens, then design must play a more prominent role in public services.
This Inquiry will investigate how to make this happen.
We want to hear from you
We are looking for the views of as broad a constituency as possible on this topic. From designers and policymakers, from central and local government, and from citizens and users – we want to engage the expertise and experience of a diverse cross-section of the design and public policy community.
