Event Description

We ran a public pre-event on 18th May at Redhouse Cymru in Merthyr - thank you to everyone who attended or spread the word / sent attendees over.

31 people attended the morning session in which we discussed what's good and what's not about health and social care in Wales, and started proposing ideas and solutions to improve mental health, hospitals, primary care, integrated services, and other health and social care services.

This was preparatory thinking towards the main session of the Parliamentary Health and Social Care Review, which is taking place on Wednesday 31st May at the Swalec Stadium. This will be attended by academics, civil servants, policy makers, and professionals - and there are 30 places for citizens and members of the public.

20 of the 30 places have been reserved by people who attended the 18th May in Merthyr. We are keen to see all the spaces taken up that are available to members to the public to have a voice in this review.

If you know someone who might be available and willing to contribute their voice to shape the future of health and social care in Wales (including you!), please do pass this eventbrite link on to them to book a place asap:

Thank you for helping us make public representation as strong as we can in this process.
