I am a GP and lead a project called HELP. Based on Hazel Stuteley's work, this is currently DH-funded. We set out to explore the business case for CD in health and have come up with a convincing case. http://www.healthempowermentgroup.org.uk/ To do this, we worked in 3 areas and found rapid and significant change, building on similar evidence of past work over 10 years or so. We are now keen (and have found strong support) to work on making this approach a routine part of Clinical Commissioning Groups' work.

hello Brian. welcome to the co-production practitioners network, thanks for joining us!
The practitioners network is supported bynefbut all content is developed by members, for members. Do have a good look around and get involved. The HELP work has been discussed and I think featured in some of the workshops and publications but if there are materials that you'd be willing to post on the site I'm sure practitioners would be really interested to see them.
Some of the following areas are good starting points;
Network groups– based loosely around geographical regions or interest themes, they also host face to face meetings. If you don’t find something for your area or interest then please set up a new group.
Resources and Videos will give you access to the latest documents supporting co-production and bring you face to face with those putting it into practice. Please add your own materials to increase the knowledge base.
The Blog carries the latest news, debate and opportunities for co-production practitioners. See what’s going on, add in your own comments or start a new thread.
nef is currently working on topics raised by network members: gathering the evidence base for co-production; developing practical approaches to commission co-production; delivering presentations and workshops for people who are interested in co-production. Get in touch if you want to know more or contribute.
Please share details of the network with colleagues or contacts you think would be interested.
