I have experience in participatory approaches such as Participatory Rural Appraisal, Accelerated Experience-based Co-design and Appreciative Inquiry in organisational and community development with service users and community members with varying levels of literacy, physical and mental health needs. I am also interested in health inequalities and understanding barriers to the delivery of healthcare in marginalised communities.

    Some related work going on in Ely Caerau around health inequalities with Communities First and ACE (Dave Horton). Plus Barbara Bale (PHW), Peter Lewis (ABUHB) and Paul Gibson (PHW) are looking at similar issues. I think that they are all members of this group. If they aren't, they should be.
