We have been working with a small group of people with learning disabilities to develop a Quality Checkers scheme. The Quality checkers have defined for themselves what quality means and what they want to check in services with which we contract. We are now looking at how to provide employment opportunities through this scheme - we are piloting checks so this is not "mainstream" yet.
I'm looking for examples of rates of pay and types of contract - I have CQC and National Voices pay rates, which align to what I had envisaged. My challenge to provide evidence robust enough to get through job evaluation processes and for the right kind of contract. At the moment, I'm considering annualised hours.

Hi,
We have been working with a small group of people with learning disabilities to develop a Quality Checkers scheme. The Quality checkers have defined for themselves what quality means and what they want to check in services with which we contract. We are now looking at how to provide employment opportunities through this scheme - we are piloting checks so this is not "mainstream" yet.

Thoughts / experiences welcomed
