    Invitation to Participate in Research

Exploratory Study of Co-Production in Recovery Colleges in the UK

This study asks staff  who are involved in Recovery Colleges in the UK about ‘Co-Production’.

Co-production in this context, is when people with personal and professional experience of mental health problems work together to consider and deliver ideas and services.

The study aims to find out how co-production is achieved in UK Recovery Colleges. Also whether there are commonly identified barriers and solutions.

There is no intention within this research to compare or rate Recovery Colleges or practices. The aim is to describe the variety and commonalities in existence.  The questionnaire is open for people to complete for 1 month closing on 27 July 2015.

The study forms the dissertation aspect of an MSc in Mental Health with the University of Brighton. Full details of the findings will be published in the journal ‘Mental Health and Social Inclusion’ (or similar) and a summary will be distributed via the same networks which have been contacted in order to identify participants.

The Participant Information Sheet is attached here for your information. Your participation is entirely voluntary.

If you are staff involved in a Recovery College and would like to participate:

    1. Please read the Participant Information Sheet
