DESCRIPTION:There has been growing interest in the idea of co-producti
 on at all levels in the NHS. This event has come about following recen
 t discussions amongst members of the London co-production network to
  further explore what role we might play to facilitate a deeper engage
 ment in co-production activities and to invite NHS and local authority
  partners and others to begin a dialogue with us on a shared agenda fo
 r developing capacity for co-production in the NHS. The purpose of the
  workshop is to invite people with an interest in co-production in the
  NHS and the wider health and wellbeing sector to share practical idea
 s on how to address key issues and challenges including:\n\n\nHow best
  to help embed and sustain co-production across the NHS in London?\nCa
 n we identify new opportunities for developing co-production at the ce
 ntre of new organisational arrangements including health and wellbeing
  boards, new local education and training networks and innovative comm
 issioning processes?\nWhat do professionals need to be able to know an
 d to do effectively to successfully engage in co-production for health
 ?\nWhat can Health and Wellbeing learn from co-production in other sec
 tors?\n\nThe workshop will provide an opportunity for sharing experien
 ces of co-production in health and beyond; understanding in more dept
 h how co-production can be positioned within a broader workforce devel
 opment and learning context and how patients and service users can be 
 better supported to take on leading roles for developing a co-pro appr
 oach within their local health communities. We also wish to explore ho
 w best to invest in making co-pro work effectively across the NHS in L
 ondon and the optimal conditions for cultivating effective and transfo
