Co-production practitioners network
A network for co-production practitioners
Hello everybody.
This is my first post – yet I find myself needing to apologise straight away…I'm asking for help. Please read on…
Each year, a person interested in issues relating to sustainable-practice within the design profession has taken a role as a 'client' on an undergraduate project I've been delivering at Cardiff School of Art and Design (CSAD). The 'client' role doesn't require that work be commissioned (a brief is given to the students by members of CSAD staff) – rather this is a symbolic role, where students discuss and present their project work (produced under staff guidance) to that 'client'.
Past 'clients' have previously made themselves available to view and discuss the students' work typically for one half-day and two full-day sessions during October and November.
The name of the project is 'Sustainable:ME?', which has developed over recent years to its current form. In its early stages it sought to address issues relating to the reduction, the re-use and the recycling of material resources. Its present agenda reflects the gradual maturing of this project where it seeks to identify issues relating to human relationships and activities surrounding the use of materials and resources. This will be the final year that the project is delivered (due to changes in CSAD's curriculum).

Email me details at noreen@beamazingtoday.co.uk if you think this would be a good fit :)
