Hello Everyone, I'm just trying to access the event bright page to book places for the next networking meeting on 20th March but I can't access it. Could someone point me in the right direction for booking places? Thanks, Loveday

Thanks Vin. It might be that these issues can also be progressed through the Co-pro Implementation Group that Ruth Hussey is setting up. Your point about Personal Assistants is really useful and not one I'd thought through. I will now!
Hi Ruth,
we had a WACDS Council meeting this week which was too small to be quorate but we used a document that Paul Swann had drafted as a basis for a response which we will be polishing over the holidays. I guess we were too fatalistic [and tired] to try for a stay of execution.
I attended the consultation event in Llandudno and spoke about CDS and Co-pro as well as lobbying for very sensitive treatment of privately employed Personal Assistants under Direct Payments within any new regulation or inspection of support staff
Hi Helen
Thanks for the heads-up...huge problem with the deadline since most people are on holiday until 6th. I believe that requests might be going in to extend the deadline (from WACDS and/or Disability Wales maybe?). Anyone else know if that's the case and/or if any co-production focus has been suggested?
I've just attended a CSSIW White Paper Consultation about a proposal for changes to be made to regulation and inspection. One of the key messages is about moving towards a Citizen Directed Approach. I feel that co-production should focus strongly in the final bill. You can read more about it here: http://cssiw.org.uk/about/white-paper/?lang=en There is a link on the website to respond with your thoughts. Responses must be submitted by January 6th
The December newsletter is out... Co-pro Wales update, recap on November events, Co-production in action: Cardiff style, co-pro resources/tools/reports, launch of Co-creating Healthy Change, Spice vacancy, co-ordinated care, survey on co-pro in mental health + more!
